MICHAEL SOLAKIAN, CPA, Managing Partner
Over 30 years of general public accounting experience, which includes specialized audit and accounting training while employed with the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick; founded Solakian, Caiafa & Company LLC in 1992 with fellow partner Paul Caiafa.

Michael has extensive experience serving Not-for-Profit organizations, including Voluntary Health and Welfare, OMB-133 Organizations (both Federal and State Single Audit), Credit Unions, and Common Interest Realty Associations.

He has served clients of all sizes in such industries as general and high-tech manufacturing, retail sales, distribution and real estate businesses.

Michael is an experienced and qualified Peer Reviewer in the AICPA Peer Review Program, and has served on both the AICPA and CSCPA Peer Review Committees .

PAUL CAIAFA, CPA, MST, Partner
Paul Caiafa is co-founder and general member in Solakian, Caiafa & Company, CPAs, LLC. He has over 29 years of general public accounting experience, which includes 10 years of specialized tax training while employed with the international accounting firm of KPMG Peat Marwick in Hartford and New Haven, CT.

Paul has extensive experience serving closely-held owner-managed companies in such industries as manufacturing, distribution, real estate and personal service businesses.

Paul has considerable experience handling the financial, income, elder care and estate tax planning demands of high-wealth individuals.
